2019 TRENDS: Subtle Shades

03.04.2019

In 2019, homes will become a lot more colourful. Warm shades in particular are great for all living areas, as they provide outstanding comfort. We have talked to Holly Becker from decor8 about the colour trends for 2019.

PINK shades are definitely one of the highlights for 2019 for #teamhülsta. Hardly any other colour offers such a subtle feel for our surroundings. Pink is a true grown-up colour when used as an accent colour and in the right combination. Combined with light wood and sand shades, colours such as dusty pink very much create a harmonious and balanced look.

Set accents in powder

Bright and friendly, yet not too cool. Pink is an expert at giving rooms a soothing touch. Accents on storage boxes or small side tables create a Scandinavian casual look in the hallway to ensure a friendly welcome.

A little pink accent is often enough to brighten up a room. Pictures with subtle shades or pouffes such as our birdy from now! by hülsta add just the right amount of colour.

Pink does not equal pink. There is a wide choice of shades with their own individual effects on your personal colour concept. When designing your home, go beyond the off-the-shelf suggestions. Manufacturers such as hülsta offer an extensive fabric collection for chairs and beds. There is hardly anything that we don’t offer. Furthermore, lacquered surfaces in some furniture ranges can be ordered in accordance with the NCS colour scale – almost 2000 colour versions are therefore possible. If you would like professional help with such a choice, simply contact the hülsta Interior Design Service.

Powder shades with grey

A convincing combination: grey and pink add an extravagant touch to furniture. The darker the grey, the more the pink accent becomes the highlight of the colour duo. There are countless combinations of these two colour shades and it is definitely an eye-catcher. The ordered structure in the Scopia shelf is underlined by the pink-grey colour combination and creates modern asymmetry.
