HÜLSTA BATHROOM: won the “German Design Award“
Stadtlohn, 22nd November 2019 – the “Rat für Formgebung“ (German Design Council) has named hülsta as one of the winners of the ”German Design Award 2020”. The hülsta Bathroom range belongs to the group of products and projects, which – according to the expert jury – will be leading the way in the German and international design landscape.
Even though the average German bathroom measures just nine square metres, it now increasingly turns into a generous feel-good retreat. Instead of just being a place to start and end the day, the bathroom has become an exclusive spa landscape featuring an ever increasing homely and elegant atmosphere.
With the bathroom collections Gentis and Tetrim, hülsta puts its stamp on this trend with design-oriented and functional “Made in Germany” furniture. The experts of the “German Design Award“ confirmed this by naming hülsta Bathroom the winner in the category “Excellence Product Design – Bath and Wellness“. The jury statement reads:
”The thought-through design of this contemporary and elegant bathroom collection stands out with clean lines, strong contrasts and an interesting mix of materials delivering an unmistakeable interior design style. A versatile and perfectly balanced collection down to the last detail, which very much meets the requirements of quality style and functionality.”
The German Design Award is an internationally renowned premium award that is recognised by experts and the general public alike. The award will be presented during the trade fair ”Ambiente“ on 7th February 2020 in Frankfurt.
